Strengthening Accountability Networks Among Civil Society (SANCUS) is a global project being implemented in 17 countries with the support of the European Union
It aims to improve democratic accountability of public institutions globally by empowering CSOs to demand systematic change to address accountability and anti-corruption deficits. In Zambia, its main objective is to strengthen public participation and consultation as well as oversight in the policy and budget cycle through a three pronged approach of network building, vertical and horizontal accountability.
