What is the reality on the ground and the needs, what are the main challenges, why we intervene here 

Our aim is to contribute towards improvements in various governance processes relating to anti-corruption and citizens participation, enhanced TI-Z participation in institutional, legal and policy reform processes, improved institutional integrity by target public and private institutions arising from TI-Z support and improved electoral governance processes.  

  • Advocate for the finalisation and approval of the NACP by Cabinet. 
  • Engage duty bearers on recommendations stemming from the anti-corruption laws gap analysis 
  • Parliamentary submissions on various topical governance issues, institutional, legal and policy reforms 
  • CSO joint advocacy on constitutional reforms, contribution towards enhanced political integrity and electoral governance processes 
  • Monitor electoral processes and parliamentary by-elections 
  • Conduct awareness campaigns on electoral governance and political parties’ regulations 
  • Uptake and operationalization of integrity support to target public and private (business) institutions 
  • Advocacy for a comprehensive lifestyle audit mechanism in the public sector. 
  • Develop a business integrity monitoring framework
