Transparency International Zambia (TI-Z) warmly congratulates Ms. Nalucha Nganga Ziba on her appointment to the global Transparency International (TI) Council. The TI Council is a group of independent experts that advise the Transparency International movement on specific activities and objectives. They support the work of the movement with diverse experience and expertise, and help to promote the exchange of knowledge with external individuals and institutions.
Ms. Ziba’s appointment to this global organ is a significant achievement for Zambia and a testament to her longstanding commitment to good governance, accountability, integrity, and public service. Her appointment reflects the confidence that the global Transparency International movement has placed in her leadership and expertise.
TI-Z is particularly encouraged by the increased representation of African voices within the TI movement’s leadership structures. We are confident that Ms. Ziba will make a valuable contribution to advancing the global fight against corruption and strengthening the principles of transparency and accountability.
